While we will not be starting our Ancient Egypt until this Fall, I am so excited by what I see so far. I think the "schedule" of it will be absolutely perfect for my 8 year old son! We have experienced quite a few Tea Time classes and he really enjoys them! (the snack and break really helps with resetting when we are getting scattered) The literature included to read looks fantastic and I think overall it will be a good fit for us.
We are only a few lessons in but so far I am loving how much we are learning with not a lot of prep work. It's laid out so perfectly that everything I need is right there and anything I don't have right there is within the bar code that I can scan. I just makes everything more efficient and smooth.... Rather than scrambling to prep everything while the kids are currently learning! I am such a big fan of this curriculum!
This is a beautiful curriculum and truly the COMPLETE package!
I just welcomed baby #5 and I needed something complete, open and go, and “easy” this is perfect for us! My kids are learning and it’s just right! I LOVE it! I wish there were dozens of more units. My only “complaint” is the nature studies so far seem fairly seasonal and since we started the first unit in January in the Midwest some of the nature crafts aren’t really super doable for us. I’m wondering if we will come to winter stuff in May or something ;)
We are using this to add on to what we are already using to create a complete Charlotte Mason feast. I really love the house keeping binder and the video for paper sloyd!!
